Donating a day of work to the Community of Izola is an important annual gesture of our employees that demonstrates our company’s social responsibility in practise. Last Friday Dinit volunteers did their best to adorn the playgrounds of all kindergarten units of Community of Izola with newly planted flowers and freshly painted and repaired playgrounds. A group of volunteers decided to help saving lives by donating their blood at Center za transfuzijsko dejavnost Izola.
Every year on September 1st children between 6 and 14 years go to elementary school for primary education. It’s an essential human right but not every family though have proper financial funding to buy all the necessary school supplies that the child needs to attend school.
The Materina Dušica Children’s Association Mala hiša Plištanj has been taking care of socially vulnerable children for many years. With the help of donations, Ada and Simona help children with material goods and offer them support in the form of workshops and various programs. They try to provide a little safe nest for them. In our company, we like to respond to charity projects that helps children in need, so yesterday we donated seven computers to the Association for their school-aged children.
Charity is part of our culture. In cooperation with the Izola Red Cross, we donated 31 sets of desktop computers to families in need. Big thanks to our employees and interns who prepared the computers for handover.
On Saturday 14.5.2022 we participated in sports games organized by the regional office of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. Around 300 participants competed in various categories in Koper. The Dinit team competed in five categories and were among the best in two categories.
We were very happy to participate in this year’s edition of the traditional Slovenian volunteer campaign “Day for Change”.

On 19th June, the “Employees’ sports games” were held in the city of Koper, organized by the Olympic committee of Slovenia in cooperation with the municipal sports association.
As a result of the pandemic, even more children and their families have been plunged into poverty. In this regard, we have handed over 31 valuable gift vouchers to kids aged 2 – 16 selected by the Social Work Centre in Izola. Once again, Dinit Card Services organized a Coding summer camp. In this regard, we are hosting excellent students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science until the end of July. For the students, the main goals of the camp would be acquiring programming ability in different programming languages and expertise in writing code and debugging programs, structurally solving computational challenges & gaining experience in thinking in an abstract and logical way. At Dinit Card Services, we want to further deepen our cooperation with participants in the camp, and to continue collaboration until the end of their studies, as knowledge sharing with prospective students is one of the company’s core missions.

Dear business partners, colleagues, and friends. For the last 3 weeks, since the very beginning of the Covid-19 virus outbreak, we are undertaking all the necessary measures to ensure a safe work environment of our employees, but also uninterrupted business processes.

In this regard, we have bought beautiful gifts for 30 kids selected by the Social Work Centre in Izola. To make the event even more exciting, we have invited Santa Clause to share Christmas spirit among our youngest.
During the festive occasion in Koper, 3 young students were awarded for the most innovative entrepreneurial ideas within the “Podjetna Primorska” contest. Within the final stage of the renowned all-year-round competition, attended by many distinguished guests and driven by the University Development Centre and Primorska Incubator & Dinit Card Services as a Gold Sponsor, 7 finalists presented their ideas. In the Academic category, Kaja Vranc won with the idea of decorative labels with energy effect GITADEVI ART. In the Optimist category, aimed at individuals and teams with no entrepreneurial experience, Leon Pavlič won the prize with a special knife air grinder LP TECH, while Marko Kotnik won in the Navigator category with a collection of movie locations for filmmakers named S.LO.SCOUT.
