We’re pleased to announce our continued support for “AN ocean of ideas 2025” as a gold partner for the second consecutive year! This initiative, dedicated to fostering youth entrepreneurship, was presented today at a press conference by the Municipality of Izola and JZP IZOLA.

This year, Dinit proudly took part in the “Clean Up Slovenia of Digital Waste” initiative, now its second year, organized by Ecologists Without Border Association with support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Every year, Dinit Sport Club organizes a challenge inviting all employees to contribute to charity through their athletic endeavors. Yesterday, we celebrated the participants of the 2024 challenge with well-deserved recognitions.

Today, Dinit Card Services hosted a press conference for the Pika Team by Mastercard, a women’s cycling team within the KD Rog cycling club. Inspired by Tadej Pogačar’s Pogi Team, the project was initiated by Urška Žigart, Slovenia’s most successful female cyclist, to provide opportunities for young, promising Slovenian talents.

Today, we celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day! Under the theme Strong in IT, we spoke with Dinit Card Services female IT experts about the unique contributions women bring to the technology sector and their experience in this dynamic industry.

In the summer of 2023, Dinit Card Services installed solar panels on its headquarters’ roof, enabling us to generate clean energy on our own premises.

We are proud to support a local initiative run by Radio Capris in collaboration with Zveza Prijateljev Mladine Slovenije - “Hladilnik toplega srca” (Fridge of Warm Heart). This noble cause brings warmth and hope to families in need during the holiday season.

Yesterday, we hosted the 8th Entrepreneurial Breakfast at the Dinit Card Services premises, an event regularly organized by JZP IZOLA. The purpose of this event is to encourage networking among local entrepreneurs and all those who contribute in various ways to the development of entrepreneurial activity in Izola.

For the third consecutive year, Dinit participated as a partner at Il Salone dei Pagamenti, the largest payment event in Italy. Held in Milan, the event offered Dinit the opportunity to stay informed about the latest industry trends, connect with clients and potential partners, and showcase our innovative solutions for issuers and acquirers.

Our business development director, Blaž Grgurović, discussed the latest trends and challenges in the payments industry in an interview with Arena Digitale at Il Salone dei Pagamenti 2024 in Milan.

We’re delighted to share that Dinit Card Services has once again partnered with Red Cross Izola for our annual initiative to support education in our community. This year, we’ve provided essential school supplies for 20 children from socially disadvantaged families, continuing a tradition we’ve fostered for 12 years.

Dinit hosted a successful Summer Camp, aimed at empowering the next generation of developers. This year’s camp featured two exciting challenges: a general development process challenge and a business requirements analysis challenge.

Donating a day of work to the Community of Izola is an important annual gesture of our employees that demonstrates our company’s social responsibility in practise. Last Friday Dinit volunteers did their best to adorn the playgrounds of all kindergarten units of Community of Izola with newly planted flowers and freshly painted and repaired playgrounds. A group of volunteers decided to help saving lives by donating their blood at Center za transfuzijsko dejavnost Izola.

Every year on September 1st children between 6 and 14 years go to elementary school for primary education. It’s an essential human right but not every family though have proper financial funding to buy all the necessary school supplies that the child needs to attend school.

The Materina Dušica Children’s Association Mala hiša Plištanj has been taking care of socially vulnerable children for many years. With the help of donations, Ada and Simona help children with material goods and offer them support in the form of workshops and various programs. They try to provide a little safe nest for them. In our company, we like to respond to charity projects that helps children in need, so yesterday we donated seven computers to the Association for their school-aged children.

Charity is part of our culture. In cooperation with the Izola Red Cross, we donated 31 sets of desktop computers to families in need. Big thanks to our employees and interns who prepared the computers for handover.

On Saturday 14.5.2022 we participated in sports games organized by the regional office of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. Around 300 participants competed in various categories in Koper. The Dinit team competed in five categories and were among the best in two categories.

We were very happy to participate in this year’s edition of the traditional Slovenian volunteer campaign “Day for Change”.

As part of the Government’s visit to the Coastal-Karst region, Mark Boris Andrijanič, the minister responsible for digital transformation, visited Dinit Card Services in Izola. He was welcomed by the entire executive team, headed by managing directors Primož Patru and Jani Gorup.

On 19th June, the “Employees’ sports games” were held in the city of Koper, organized by the Olympic committee of Slovenia in cooperation with the municipal sports association.

As a result of the pandemic, even more children and their families have been plunged into poverty. Therefore, at Dinit Card Services, we are happy to be able, once again, to share the festive spirit with families and children in need. In this regard, we have handed over 31 valuable gift vouchers to kids aged 2 – 16 selected by the Social Work Centre in Izola. By that, they will feel special in the upcoming holiday season, which brings us great joy and happiness.

Once again, Dinit Card Services organized a Coding summer camp. In this regard, we are hosting excellent students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science until the end of July. For the students, the main goals of the camp would be acquiring programming ability in different programming languages and expertise in writing code and debugging programs, structurally solving computational challenges & gaining experience in thinking in an abstract and logical way. At Dinit Card Services, we want to further deepen our cooperation with participants in the camp, and to continue collaboration until the end of their studies, as knowledge sharing with prospective students is one of the company’s core missions.

We are happy to respond to the initiative of the Secondary Technical School in the city of Koper, in which we have donated notebooks to 4 students in need from Izola. At Dinit Card Services, we strongly believe education is the basic right of every child, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Dear business partners, colleagues, and friends. For the last 3 weeks, since the very beginning of the Covid-19 virus outbreak, we are undertaking all the necessary measures to ensure a safe work environment of our employees, but also uninterrupted business processes.

December is a month when we get closer together and share the joy with others. At Dinit Card Services, we are happy to be able to share unique festive moments with families and children in need. In this regard, we have bought beautiful gifts for 30 kids selected by the Social Work Centre in Izola. To make the event even more exciting, we have invited Santa Clause to share Christmas spirit among our youngest.

During the festive occasion in Koper, 3 young students were awarded for the most innovative entrepreneurial ideas within the “Podjetna Primorska” contest. Within the final stage of the renowned all-year-round competition, attended by many distinguished guests and driven by the University Development Centre and Primorska Incubator & Dinit Card Services as a Gold Sponsor, 7 finalists presented their ideas. In the Academic category, Kaja Vranc won with the idea of decorative labels with energy effect GITADEVI ART. In the Optimist category, aimed at individuals and teams with no entrepreneurial experience, Leon Pavlič won the prize with a special knife air grinder LP TECH, while Marko Kotnik won in the Navigator category with a collection of movie locations for filmmakers named S.LO.SCOUT.
